The Environment Agency - Framework for flood and coastal work
The Environment Agency has renewed all key delivery partners on its Collaborative Delivery Framework for flood and coastal work programmes for another four years.
The extra four-year commitment would enable delivery partners to further invest in the future skills and technologies that would be needed to deliver the £5.2bn capital investment programme.
The first four years of the framework have seen the completion of schemes such as Ponteland in Northumberland and Godstow Wier in Oxfordshire, which have led to flood risk reduction for the homes and businesses within those flood zones. As well as helping to maintain habitats and increase biodiversity in the catchments.
